Blue2 - on hold pending adoption

We received a call from Blues best friends owner asking whether we would be able to take two dogs Karma and Blue as they could not look after them anymore and they kept getting out. We said yes we would and organised to pick them up the following Monday. On Monday we received a call to say they were in the pound and they could not get them out until they had got there benefit payment on Wednesday. On Tuesday another call saying would we be able to get them out we organised a foster carer to do so. We were also told on Monday that Karma was on heat and Blue had got to her. We have in the meantime taken Blue to the vet to get him desexed immunised heartworm tested and have treated him for fleas worms heart worm and ticks. Blue is called Blue because he is actually a red and cream border collie he has a lovely nature can be stubborn is very playful and smart. He is fine with people and some other dogs. He loves to run and play in our back paddock so needs and active family with time and space preferably with another dog who is female or as an only dog. He is extremely smart and wants to please so would be idea for any of the dog sports such as obedience agility herding tracking scent work etc.
