About Bardo
Bardo Was surrendered by a young man who had brought him home from a friends place as his friend was not able to keep him. He is a lovely Lab Kelpie cross with a great personality, gets on with everyone including dogs and other animals. He is a quicker learner, very willing to please. He is now de-sexed, immunised, and micro-chipped.
Bardo is very much a people dog so needs to be in a family or some who works from home or can take them with them. He is not the type of dog who should be left for hours on end without anyone to be with either dog or human. He is fine if he has another dog to play with. He is fine with other dogs as he lives with 5 other young dogs currently. He is reasonably well behaved for a teenager, but can have a mind of his own, he is obedient, protective of his owner but full of lots of energy. He needs a firm hand otherwise like all teenagers he will stretch the boundaries if he can! He needs to be walked at least once a day and to get regular exercise. He loves playing ball so needs a playmate. He is better with older kids as he might knock over a young child in his exuberance. He loves people and being around them. He is looking for a wonderful home where his owner would love him forever, take him to training, exercise every day and have someone or another dog like him to play with and a fully fenced back yard. he just wants to please and he likes travelling in a car. He needs someone who will spend time with him.
