About CasperCasper is a beautiful German Shepherd cross Belgian Shepherd boy was rescued from Kempsey Pound. He has been desexed immunised and chipped since arriving at Happy Paws Haven. He was found at Turners Flat near Kempsey he was seen by the side of the road by a gentleman going to work who thought it was a little odd. He found Casper was still there on his way home so stopped to make sure he was ok. He took Casper home and called the ranger who came and took him to the pound. German Shepherd Rescue contacted Happy Paws Haven and asked for our help which we agreed to happily. He was picked up by Dogmovers and bought to South Grafton and taken straight to Riverbank Animal Hospital who bathed him cleaned him up and then the next day did all the vet work. Now he has settled and is ready to find a home of his own. He is a lovely gentle boy gets on with other dogs loves being with people and is about 5 years old. He is learning to play which is wonderful and you often see Gretel Nash and Casper chasing each other or rumbling on the ground. He seems to be enjoying being with other dogs and people and is certainly coming out of his shell. He is blossoming into a truly lovely and loving dog who enjoys company.
