Zuko - special needs

Zuko is a beautiful German Shepherd who did not know where he lived. At first it was in a house with all his family and he was very happy. Then the daughter moved out but into a house in the same street and took him with her all was fine at first as when she went to work he would be dropped off to her parents in his old home. Then after a while when she was at home on the week-ends he would hope over the fence and go to visit her parents. In the end they all decided that maybe he was better staying with them so he went back to his original home and that worked for awhile. Then he decided to go over the fence to visit the daughter in her home. Each of them decided to raise the height of the fence and still he went visiting. In the end they got so worried that he would hurt himself end up at the pound or be hit by a car that they bought him out to Happy paws Haven. We are doing some work with him every day and each day he is wanting to stay more and more. He is a lovely dog playful is learning to get on with other dogs as he has not had much to do with them before. He is not at all aggressive can be anxious when meeting someone or some thing or some dog for the first time but it does not take him long to become friends. He has a lovely gentle temperament seems fine with kids but would be better in a home with someone who is at home all the time and willing to spend time with him. he walks well on a lead he will sit and shake. He loves his ears stroked and cuddles. He is a special boy who needs a special home.
